The word "exodus" means "the way out" or "departure" and shows God's power and desire to keep the promises made to the patriarchs and lead His people into the promised land.
What a great encouragement! I never thought about the fact that it was because of Pharaoh’s wicked decree that God would then use this to bring Moses into a place where Moses would then receive the necessary preparation for the task that God was calling Moses to. It really changes my perspective on the afflictions of this world, no wonder Paul could be joyful through affliction, because he understood that God was going to use this to advance the Kingdom of Heaven. Granted, affliction is always hard, and I know that we are to cry out for deliverance from it, but it is so good to be encouraged in hope that even the greatest affliction will bring God the most glory and the greatest good for His people.

Amen!
