Thank you so much for this series! When I was growing up, my mom used to read us the Proverb of the day (since there are 31 chapters, one for each day of the month) and now Mark and I do the same in our own children. This is a very special book of the Bible to me for many reasons and I’m looking forward to more commentaries on this treasure book. I appreciate the challenge of always finding Christ in the Old Testament. It really helps to understand the fact that the whole of Scripture is one single string of God’s Love Story for His people.
I read a chapter a day, Gloria. But seeing the person and work of Christ is always the key for me. It lifts it from a book that simply tells me what to do, to a book that invites me to worship.
